SEPTEMBER WRITING & OCTOBER GOALS

Hey everyone! So I missed sharing July's writing goals and results, but I'm back on track for August. (Sorta.)

SEPTEMBER GOALS

*BB5, which releases September 29th
*BB6, which will release, Lord willing, in early December
*Finalization of files for Bewitched by Candlelight, releasing November 24th
*Some prepwork for RealmieWriMo in October and Jesus Writing Month in November, as well as prep for a potential author signing event in October.

SEPTEMBER RESULTS

We got to the finish line with BB5, also known as Where the Waltz Wanes! The full series is available now, if you're a contemporary fan.

In a way, I did and didn't work on BB6. After wrestling with it for almost the whole year, I finally realized that the best way to wrap up the series was actually a simple epilogue at the end of WTWW, so I did so and laid BB6 to rest.

Files have officially been finalized for Bewitched by Candlelight, which releases November 24th! Preorders are open, and today, ARC copies will be sent out to the biggest team I've ever had!

I did do minimal prepwork for RealmieWriMo and Jesus Writing Month, both of which you can join for free in case you're looking for support and writerly fun. Click the names above to sign up! I hope I'll see you there this fall (October for RWM and November for JWM)!

Overall, this month was not a writing month, and that's okay. The most writing I got done was the epilogue for WTWW as well as some plotting work that was attempted for BB6, and the rest of my authorly time was spent in proofreading, revisions, and last-minute tweaks for the last two releases of 2026 on top of life stuff that took priority.

OCTOBER GOALS

*Ten chapters for Project ADOP, my upcoming regency novella with Beyond the Bookery.
*Ten chapters for Project ETD, a middle grade fantasy I started back in RWM July
*Prep fantasy WIPs
*Write a bit in FFF2, a middle grade horse girl book series I've been chipping away at since 2023...

REMINDERS!

Preorders are live now for $3.99 for Bewitched by Candlelight, releasing November 24th! If you've been waiting for my next fantasy story, this will be it for the year.
