 Hey everyone!
It's officially time to reveal the title and blurb for one of my WIPs, a nonmagical fantasy arriving this year! Check it out below!

Your attendance to the Dance of Fates is mandated. Hide and you will be found. Resist and you shall die.

It’s no surprise when Verity Kuhn receives an invitation to the annual Dance of Fates from Allemagne’s Grand Captain. But a new mandate requires all paupers to perform this year: the best saved for an elite Troupe, and the rest sold worldwide to settle their debts to the kingdom. Verity has already lost one brother to the Grand Captain, and the mandate confirms her worst fear: her attempts to hide her little brother have failed. Obeying the mandate means abandoning the only family she has left, but rebellion could cost both their lives.

When Verity learns that her other brother may still be alive, she becomes a stowaway on the Grand Captain’s own merchant ship, determined to bring him home. But in the meantime, she discovers a mysterious rebel soldier with world-tipping news. Not only does he know her brother’s whereabouts, but he is involved with a rival kingdom’s plan to invade Allemagne and topple its twisted regime, once and for all…and he wants Verity to join his quest for justice. But it’s a dangerous dance filled with traitors and deception, and their lives hang in the balance.

Trapped between generations of evil and an unknown future, the pair set out to discover the sacrifices it will take to conquer darkness, rescue those they love, and bring light to a broken kingdom.

Fans of The Nutcracker will be thrilled with this new twist on a familiar story.

The cover reveal will be July 21st, so it's coming soon! What do you think? Are you excited for this release?

Hey everyone! I'm pumped to share this review of Trouble in Dry Springs, which is Kristina Hall's latest release. If you enjoy historical novels or westerns, make sure to check this one out. First, some info about the book:

Even the peaceful town of Dry Springs is not without trouble.

When Eliza McCoslin's brother sends for her, she exchanges war-torn Mississippi for Dry Springs, Texas. Settling into a new way of life proves difficult though, despite the arrival of the man she's long admired.

Jesse Carrigan comes to Dry Springs seeking work and a place to start the ranch he's dreamed of ever since his parents lost their farm. What he doesn't expect to find is the woman he'd like to court—or his former colonel on the run from a deadly threat.

Given the circumstances keeping Jesse and Eliza apart and the danger looming on the horizon, he and Eliza find themselves facing the loss of future love—and life. When trouble comes to Dry Springs, who will be left standing?

This is an excellent, heartwarming western! Unlike some stories within the genre, this plot is fairly fast-paced and tense. I loved Jesse's character and some of the secondary characters were an absolute riot. I really got into the themes presented, especially surrounding the struggle with Anson (who absolutely just--he just needs to go away, okay? That's my spoiler-free review). Most of the characters are dynamic, there's some great humor mixed in with the more serious aspects of the story, and it will leave you with a couple things to mull over as well. This is a great clean historical fiction-slash-western from Hall that fans and new readers alike will enjoy!

Hey everyone! It's that time again, and I have to say, this cover is my favorite of the series, so I can't wait to share it with you. Remnant Of Us is going slower than expected (I actually put too much stuff into the plot, so I'm having to re-rework it and, um. Tone it down a bit. *clears throat*) so I did have to delay the release date (from August) until the fall. BUT we're still heading for release day!

So today, take a look at the blurb and then the cover!

Following Halfway’s destruction, the survivors must fight their way to escape the Order’s grip as well as a new rebel group. With two targets on their backs, they must navigate the new horrors they’ve discovered. Truth mixes with fiction. The dead are alive, but traitors lurk in the midst. Who can they trust now?

As the world spins closer to The End, the mission of the Unmarked must shift in order to survive. Turmoil unfolds as the world prepares for war. Allies of the Order are assassinated as Tarik Azrael ascends in power. And as the heavens pause before the final battle, the unthinkable explodes.

A story on seeing and following Adonai’s plan when we are broken beyond repair, REMNANT OF US is the fourth installment of the Midnight Hour series.

So when I was inspired to write Back to Me, I also tossed around the idea of doing a devotional...which was quickly set aside because I felt unequipped to do so.

And it hit me full-force again this year, in the beginning of May. When I sat down to brainstorm, I had a thirty-day devotional outlined within half an hour...and for me to sit down and outline something is a feat in and of itself. To stick with said outline is miraculous. And to finish the draft in two weeks? Pffft.
But it happened.  And Draft One wasn't total trash??
So this is one of those "fast and furious" drafts that pop up out of nowhere and all of a sudden, boom, they're published. Right now, the devotional is with a couple awesome beta readers, but for now, I thought I'd drop the blurb to share it with you guys! The title will be revealed soon.

Everyone encounters suffering through their lifetime. What you do with it involves a series of choices. In this devotional, we'll learn...
  • To pursue forgiveness, not bitterness
  • How to reconcile the past and rely on God for strength
  • The importance of moving forward rather than growing stagnant
  • How Satan uses hurt to distract us from God, and how to fight against his schemes
  • Why we need to submit ourselves to God in continual obedience

With daily readings, Bible verses, a starter prayer, and questions to contemplate with God, this devotional shares a personal journey of healing while presenting the case for giving up control to God, throwing off the bondage of sin and shame we've held onto for too long.

Again, title reveal will be coming soon! Keep an eye out for cover reveal signups too.
So what do you think?
If you haven't grabbed a copy of BTM this week, tomorrow is the last day for freebies. Check it out

Hey everyone! So for me, it's time to celebrate one year free from chronic migraines and anxiety, by God's grace and healing power. This time last year, I didn't know what on earth was coming for me--but I'm so grateful that it did, and I wake up every morning in gratitude. That despite my doubts, my shortcomings, my anxieties and fears, God still met me where I was and sent people to help me heal mentally--and then physically, too.

For you, that means a free book! If you haven't read Back to Me yet, here's your chance to do so for free! Through June 5-9th, pick up a Kindle copy of Back to Me (and if you have read it already, please leave a review!)

This week, I've also got an exciting announcement coming (well, I think it's exciting, we'll see what everyone else thinks) so make sure to stay tuned!

Even if it means joining forces with a runaway super soldier and mercenary space mafia.

After the Space Guardians strand Marci Maxwell aboard Gold Chaser, she finds herself in a fight for her life against rabid monsters sent to kill her… until stowaway Kenji Matsuoka appears. After narrowly escaping the monster-infested ship, the duo must join a crew of space mafia to infiltrate the impenetrable Space Guardians HQ: the men that created Kenji, kidnapped Marci’s brother... and are aiding the fallen gods in creating a supreme human race.

The ragtag crew must face traitors in their midst and demons from their pasts before they stand a chance against the Guardians. When they finally begin their risky infiltration to save dozens of victims, they're met with an unexpected trial: the Guardians need Marci for their ultimate plan.
