Well, not much writing got done in the month of August, and I'm still a little discombobulated that, as I type this, it's almost the end of August. Like...huh? But here we are, and here's where my writing stands for this month.
August Goals:
*Get the proof copy of The Queen of Lanaria ordered
*Get the proof copy of the Legends of Lanaria omnibus ordered
*Work on Rooted
*Work on QSAL
*Reveal QSAL's title, coming August 11th
August Accomplishments:
I found out that my short story "Chasing Shadows" was the Historical Division winner for Clean Fiction Magazine's Fall 2025 edition! That was my big win for the month, because everything else dried up so totally. And that's okay. (I'm telling myself that, okay?) I also got the formatting done for TQOL and the omnibus, which took up the majority of my free time. (If you saw my last post about splitting it up into two volumes, you know why...) I also revealed QSAL's title on August 11, which was pre-scheduled. I did not get nearly as much work done for Rooted or QSAL as I had hoped. Here's to hoping for next month...
