Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to share my review for Emissary by Bradley Caffee, book two in The Keeper Series! This book releases September 15 on Kindle and paperback!
ABOUT THE BOOK
In a world where survival is everything, what room is left for sacrifice?
Jimmy Hunter’s days as a scavenger are over. Now he lives as a Keeper, one of the only survivors with knowledge of the humanity-saving underground bunkers. With the destruction of the Lifeboat in his city, Jimmy and his companions must find passage across the ocean to the next nearest Lifeboat in Scotland. Their only hope is to find the dwelling of Dr. Victoria Clarke and search for any clues she may have left to the secret bunker’s location.
Unknown to them, this Lifeboat lies underneath an entire community of people living and thriving with no knowledge that the salvation of the world lies beneath their feet. Led by a charismatic man known as the Emissary, the community obeys his every whim, believing he is the messenger of God’s judgment upon the world.

MY REVIEW
Emissary hits the ground running and picks right up where the last book left off. It's got dynamic characters that are easy to like, a sweeping adventure, and an engaging, twisty storyline that keeps you turning pages! Caffee always has a knack for creating compelling characters (and then sometimes eliminating them in a way that you'll remember years later...) and the cast of this book is no different. Watching the fruition of the series (and the Bible verse that is central to the storyline) come to full bloom was phenomenal. This is definitely a re-readable, binge-able series; readers will want to go back and reread them back-to-back for sure. I loved this book and if you're a fan of dystopians with a lot of heart, you'll definitely enjoy the Keeper series.
